In an effort to show that livestreaming will remain a viable part of the concert experience even beyond the pandemic, Live Nation Entertainment, the world’s largest live-entertainment company, and Veeps, the livestreaming platform, have begun outfitting more than 60 concert venues in the United States with the equipment needed to offer turnkey livestreaming. This setup gives any artist playing at these venues the ability to stream their event to fans across the globe. The two companies have selected locations that are well-known tour stops, allowing performers to decide when and where they want to incorporate streaming into their show.
Now, with the simple flip of a switch, any artist playing in these venues can make their event a worldwide event. We have already seen how livestream concerts increase engagement across the various aspects of an artist’s business, and the added ticket revenues will allow them to reinvest in their art and make their offerings even more impressive for their fans.
