TikTok might not be relinquishing on live shopping in the US after all. As indicated by a report from the Financial Times, the organization is taking a gander at joining forces with TalkShopLive to dispatch live buying highlights in North America.
TalkShopLive is a live shopping platform based in Los Angeles and, as noted by the FT, is used by companies such as Walmart and Microsoft’s MSN to hold shopping livestreams. Through the partnership, TikTok could purportedly exploit TalkShopLive’s technology to enable creators to host live shopping sessions on TikTok, while also giving brands the choice to simultaneously broadcast the stream to their own sites.
